Charlottesville TV Station Headline Too Good to Be True

Iraqi Body Count

"If we just wait one more year, only a couple of more hundred thousand Iraqis and some hundreds of US troops will die,"

David just for my curiosity could you give me an approximate number of how many Iraqis have died since the beginning of hostilities in 2002?

Greatly appreciated.

Hardly an unbiased

group. By looking at the list of board members I would say that they might lean just a little to the left and therefore serving their own agenda. Their numbers do not even come close to UN numbers ( hardly pro-American) or for the matter the numbers from IBC. I am confused by the following statement by JFP; "This daily estimate is a rough estimate. It is not scientific; for that, another study must be conducted." What's up with that? I am sorry a non-scientific estimate from a group who has a very apparent agenda doesn't cut it with me. They get some of their number from "The Lancet" a medical journal, where did their numbers come from. They also refer to a poll done by Opinion Research Business, scientific yes but how accurate? What really makes me question these high numbers is the fact that the UN numbers are significantly lower. If the UN could make the America look worse in Iraq I am sure they would. They have no reason to publish false low numbers.

I want facts not rhetoric.

Vermont-Not a Good Example of Justice

Willh.

It's probably not a wise idea to hold Vermont up as a bastion of social justice. They only seem to be concerned about perceived offenses as opposed to real ones such as these:

"Judge Edward Cashman sentenced the rapist of a 6-year-old girl to 60 days in jail."
"Judge David Howard sentenced a man who molested a 4-year-old boy to no jail time at all, just probation..." FoxNews. Vermont is one of only ten states that have refused to impose mandatory harsh prison sentences on child molesters.

Then again I guess the far left's idea of justice is somewhat different from the mainstream. They would rather make up offenses against an administration they disagree with and let child predators free.

Make sense to me.

Name a State (Any of the 50)

...in which you cannot find an outrageous court ruling. IF you can't, then by your logic we must denounce any apparently admirable things that come out of the entire nation. I'm sure that makes sense to some people.

10 states

......refuse to take care of their children by properly punishing child predators. Since when should we justify bad behavior by pointing to other bad behavior? If more people were concerned about injustices on the local and state level the national scene would improve. Places like Brattleboro should take care of their local injustices before worrying about everyone else's. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".
